About
About Me
I’m Daniel Lee — a storyboard and visual development artist from Cypress, California.
I graduated from UC San Diego in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts, completed a storyboarding certificate at Cypress College, and spent three years tutoring kids from low-income households — 680 hours that earned a President’s Volunteer Service Award. These days I draw story frames, and I build practical tools with Claude.

Young Leaders of Orange County (YLOC) — Volunteer Tutor, Sep 2018 – Jun 2021.
680 volunteer hours providing free math and reading tutoring to students in grades 2–7 from low-income households, in small groups of 2–4. Recognized with the President’s Volunteer Service Award. I designed custom weekly worksheets and video supplements for each student’s skill gaps, and when the pandemic hit, helped move the whole operation online with Slack, Zoom, and Discord — using an online homework-assessment system to adapt each week’s materials to what the data showed.
